Try a mindfulness break!

Reduce stress and improve focus with this guided meditation by our own Director of Counseling, Jennifer Levesque, LICSW. Mindfulness exercises can also help with stress reduction, memory, and give you a greater feeling of balance including acceptance of yourself, others, and situations.

You don't need to go somewhere, or hire someone, or chant . . . it's not weird, or new age, or for hippies. Our minds are lost in thought 47% of the time, according to researchers at Harvard University.

Researchers at the Columbia University Medical Center claim mindfulness can change the structure and function of the brain which can:

  • reduce stress, anxiety, and depression

  • increase focus and concentration

  • improve memory and attention span

  • build greater physical/psychological resilience.
